Minnie married Erwin Clark Brown on 29 May 1892 in Marshfield, VT. They were the parents of Lilla Minnie Brown Fisher (b. 1893), Leon Erwin Brown (b. 1897), Merton Fred Brown, Sr (b. 1900), Earl Franklin Brown (b. 1906) and Ernest Wilbur Brown (b. 1910). Minnie's husband Erwin died on 22 August 1921 at age 53. A letter was found in the family papers in 2016 that was from Minnie to her son Merton. She described Erwin's symptoms, which now sound like poisoning from farm chemicals. Several of their grandchildren have shared that Erwin grew cabbages. The letter was dated just a few days before Erwin passed away.
Erwin and Minnie lived on the road between Calais and Worcester, Washington County, VT. In 2017 with the help of drawings (from two grandchildren) and the memories of the location of their home by another granddaughter it was located by granddaughter E.M. (Brown) Stone and great-grandson J.S. Brown. The foundation of the home and barn were still standing.
