Mr. Alton Banton of West Memphis passed away Sunday night.
Mr. Banton was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Lucile Banton.
Mr. Banton, a Cross County native, was a graduate of Vanndale High School. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #737, Delta Shrines, and Order of Eastern Star Robert E. Spillman #550. He lived most of his adult life in West Memphis. He was a member of West Memphis Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Banton of the home.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 3:00 at Vanndale Cemetery in Vanndale, Arkansas.
