Eugene, age 57, passed away of injuries received in a two-vehicle accident. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Mr. Kramer was dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at the junction of US-36 and K87, approximately 16 miles east of Marysville.

He was born on a farm south of Vermillion, the son of Joseph and Minnie (Boeckman) Kramer. He graduated from Lillis High School in 1947. He married Mary Isabelle McCarthy on April 17, 1951, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lillis.

Survivors include his wife, his daughters, Mary Seits, Patricia Stines, Janet Taphorn, James Kramer, and John Kramer, his siblings, Eleanor Brown, Ernestine Nolan, Wilbert Kramer, and Joseph Kramer, and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Lillis. Burial was in the church cemetery.
