Evelyn Weathersby Lipscomb was born December 30, 1927 in Red Bay, AL. She passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009. She was preceded in death by first husband, Joseph Edwin Weathersby.
She was survived by husband, James Walton Lipscomb III, Nashville; daughter, Mary Joe (Ron) Harvey, Burns, TN; granddaughters, Jennifer Leigh (Justin) Lange, White Bluff, Leslie Claire (Jason) Copen, White Bluff, and Evelyn Anne Harvey, Burns; great-grandsons, Hunter Neale Lange and James Marshall Copen; brothers, Billy Hughes (Wilma Ann) Henson, DVM, Daphne, AL, Leslie Taylor (Doris Faye) Henson Jr, Tampa, Charles Edward (Judith) Henson and Tommy Houston (Hellen) Henson, Brandon, MS.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m., today at Reed Hall, West End United Methodist Church with funeral in the sanctuary at 3 p.m. Graveside service is at Lakewood Park, Jackson, MS at 11 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2009.
