Elisha Floyd Gardner, 69, son of Elisha and Mary Gardner was born April 18, 1858; departed this life November 30, 1927. Heart trouble was the cause of death. He made his home with his sister, Mrs. Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gardner and together they cared for their aged parents. Besides Lizzie his sister, he is also survived by two brothers Hugh Gardner , Olney and Stephen Gardner of Monroe MI. a sister, Malinda Gardner of Sullivan, Funeral services were held at Mt. Pleasant church with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
