Sudden Death. Our citizens were painfully surprised, on Sunday morning last, to hear that John Welsh, an old citizen of this county, had died suddenly at his home in this city the night previous, of heart disease. Mr. Welsh was up in town on Saturday afternoon, seemingly enjoying his usual health, and went to bed feeling in good spirits and as healthy as ever, but was soon attacked with disease of the heart and life immediately passed away. He was about seventy years of age, and leaves a wife and a family of grown children. His funeral took place near Martinsville, on Sunday.
