He was retired truck driver and also served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Harkey Family Funeral Services.
Glen is survived by his wife Martha Meredith, a son James Meredith and wife Sandy, daughter Judy Venters and husband Steve all of Monahans, Texas, brothers Laymand Meredith of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Willard Freeze of Monahans, Texas, sisters Bonnie Blair of Monahans, Texas, and Lorane Meredith of Jones Mill, Ark., 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death parents Floyd and Odessa Meredith, stepfather Tom Freeze, brother Charles Meredith, sister Della Hulsey, granddaughter Audrey Branham and grandson James Lynn Meredith Jr.
