Nicholas is the son of Claas Frederick (the immigrant) and Aeffie Arentse Bradt, his death date is not known for certain. He had 3 sons serving in the Revolutionary War. He and his wife reportedly could hear the cannons from the Battles of Saratoga which would mean they lived at least past July, 1777.
