DON C. WEBER OF ARLINGTON DIES

ARLINGTON PHARMACIST 51 YEARS IS DEAD; NATIVE OF INDIANA -

Don C. Weber, 69, a pharmacist in Arlington 51 years, died at his home there last Thursday morning. He had been located in building, during his entire tenure of business there, and had a wide acquaintance.

Mr. Weber was born April 15, 1869, at Evanston, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Weber. He came to Arlington with his parents in 1870, and was married there June 8, 1892, to Sophia Hashoff.

His education in pharmacy was obtained in the Chicago College of Pharmacy. Prominent in the Masonic lodge, he was honored last year with the Jordan medal as the oldest member of the Arlington lodge.

Surviving him are a son, Leo, and a grandson.

The Arlington Methodist church was filled at 2:30 p.m. Sunday for funeral services, at which the Rev. Thomas W. Parkin offered the Masonic ritual prayer and was followed by the Rev. H. C. Van Valkenburgh, who paid a tribute to Mr. Weber, Arlington's oldest business man and lodge member. Rhea Gilfrey, acting worshipful master of Hiram lodge No. 42, A. F. and A. M., had charge of the burial ritual of the Masonic lodge, both at the church and at the grave in Arlington cemetery.

The church was banked with flowers for the funeral. Pallbearers were A. A. Hahlbeck, Tom Dowell, Leslie French, Dr. L. M. Peterson, C. C. Cook and Guy L. Glover.
