Mrs. Luther Welborn Succumbs to Injuries Received Saturday.
Elmo, Tex., June 7 - Mrs. Luther Welborn died at 11:45 this morning from the effects of injuries received Saturday afternoon when the buggy in which she was riding was struck by an engine, an account of which appeared in The Transcript of that date. Mrs. Welborn is the second victim of the deplorable tragedy which has cast such a deep sorrow over this entire community, her father, A. H. Her husband and an infant child survive. One child was also hurt in the accident which has cost two lives, but it is believed that it will recover.
