Cloma G. Brown Baker, 75, of 12216 Loop Road, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, at her home.

Born Dec. 12, 1924, in Robertsdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Sara Jane Horton Brown.

She was a 1934 graduate of Robertsdale High School.

She worked for more than 29 years at South Mountain Restoration Center as a nurses' assistant. She retired in 1984.

She was a member of New Baltimore Church of God in South Mountain, Pa.

She is survived by her husband of more than 53 years, Julian Baker; a daughter, Marian Wagaman of South Mountain; a son, Wendell Baker of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Dorothy Stapleton of Altoona, Pa.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Louise Jones, Martha Brown, Ethel Bollinger and Ida Simpson; and 10 brothers, E. Edward Brown, Wendell Brown, Glenn Brown, Ruben Brown, Vern Brown, Nelson Brown, Raymond Brown, Amon Brown, Donald Brown and Dale Brown.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery in South Mountain.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro.
