Lucille Frances Sholtz

Lucille "Lucy" Frances Sholtz was born June 15, 1925 in Pawnee county, Nebraska, daughter of John and Rosa Havlicek Strnad. She departed this life on December 27, 1976, at 10:00 p.m. in Council Bluffs, Iowa, at the Mercy hospital, at the age of 51 years, 6 months and 12 days.
She was united in marriage with Wilbur Sholtz, February 10, 1945, at Mankato, Kansas. They lived in Council Bluffs for 30 years, where Lucille worked at World Radio and Globe Electronics.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Charles and her mother and father.
Surviving are her husband, Wilbur, and twin boys, Tindal Wilbur Sholtz and wife Ginny, two granddaughters, Wendy Jo and Jennifer Jo all of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Kendal William Sholtz and wife Pam. granddaughter, Amy Kathleen and grandson, Mark Kendal of Northfield, Minnesota; two sisters, Lillian Nash of Emporia, Kansas and Rose Spracker of Woodward, Iowa; two brothers, Arthur and Myron Strnad of Superior, Nebraska; 18 nieces and nephews.
Beloved friends Anne & Melvin Guffis of Council Bluffs, Iowa, also survive.
The funeral was held Friday, December 31, from the Simonson Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Poock officiating.
Music was furnished by Ann Mohlman, soloist, accompanied by Kay Mechsner, organist.
Pallbearers were Ronald Payne, Dean Sholtz, Bill Sholtz, Eldon Yung, Dallas Duffy and Robert Strnad,
Interment was in the Guide Rock cemetery.
