Orangeburg - Hubert P. Wactor, 79, retired owner of Wactor's Grocery, died Monday at his residence. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Wactor was born in Elloree, a son of Arthur Wactor and Neppie Snell Wactor. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and First Southern Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Hodges Wactor; a son, Neal Wilkes of Atlanta; a daughter, Dixie Shealy of Orangeburg; two sisters, Sadie W.
