Rupert, June 28 -- Fred Yeager, 54, and formerly employed locally in coal mining, died at his home near Rupert this morning following a year's illness. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Yeager, both deceased, he was born in Lincoln County February 15, 1896. Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Albright of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Helen Hudkins of Leivasy, and Mrs. Ernestine Huffman of Mt. Gay; also two sons, Rather and Ralph Yeager, both of Rupert. Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Carrie McDaniel and Mrs. Isabelle Adkins, both of Midkiff, Mrs. Bessie Lanville of Stinson, and Mrs. Gustie Channie of Milton; also five brothers, Frank and Henry of Midkiff, Cleve of Hubball, and Cyrus and Numan of Myra. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Midkiff Baptist Church, with Interment in the Midkiff Cemetery. The body will be removed to the home from Wallace and Wallace Undertakers Thursday at 10 a.m. Family links: Spouse: Laura Mae Pennington Yeager (1896 - 1997)* Children: Pearl M.
