SAVANNAH - Laverne Sellers Faircloth died peacefully at her home Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at the age of 84, under the care of Hospice Savannah and surrounded by her loving and devoted children. A native of Waycross, GA, Mrs. Faircloth spent most of her life in Savannah and was retired from Belk's of Savannah. An active member of Radiant Life Christian Fellowship for many years, she spent most of her life being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Enwood Emory Faircloth, her mother and father, Walter and Kathleen Sellers, two sisters, Velma Brand and Kathleen Murray, and a brother, Robert Sellers. Mrs. Faircloth is survived by her daughters, Patsy and Jerry Morris , Kay Henry and Jerry Stanley, Barbara and Sid Golden, and Cathy and Kurt Hebert; her grandchildren, Donna and Greg Horton, Melissa and Martin Smith, Tammy and Richard Johnston, Wendy and Blair Henry Lowe, Tim Hebert, and Bradley Morris; her eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, W.A. Sellers and Spencer Sellers; two sisters, Gwendolyn Bennett and Betty and Ramus Freeman; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral directors, Hodgson Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, at Radiant Life Christian Fellowship, 5619 Skidaway rd., Savannah, GA 31406, with Rev. David C. Stanton officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bradley Morris, Tim Hebert, Marty Stahl, Martin Smith, Billy Murray, Bo Lee, Art Stahl, and Bobby Murray.
