Jean D. Becker, 71, of Mason City died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at 2:22 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Mr. Becker was a lifelong farmer.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was born Oct. 6, 1931, in Peoria to W. Earl and Louise Palmer Becker. He married Ruth Leinweber on July 8, 1955, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church at Allen's Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a longtime member of the Polled Hereford Association and a former member of the Mason City School Board and the board of directors of the Mason City National Bank.
