It seems possible that Rose was named "Rose Elizabeth." In the San Francisco Call [newspaper], November 14, 1904, p. 12, col. 3, bottom, reference is made to the November 13, 1904 confirmations of fifty boys and sixty-two girls at St. Francis Church, among them a girl named "Rose Elizabeth Ferrea." (See "San Francisco Call, November 14, 1904, p. 12, col. 3, bottom (Rose Elizabeth Ferrea).jpg"). Four of the boys named in the listing (together with birthdates gleaned from Ancestry.com were Andrew Columbus Panella (b. 23 Oct 1892 - San Mateo); Luke Leo Terrence Kelly (b. 1 Mar 1889/1891 (1 Mar 1889)); Howard James Schage (b. 21 Apr 1889 - San Francisco); and Joseph Antone Daviner (b. 1885-07-06 (6 Jul 1885)). The ages of those four boys suggests that the Rose Elizabeth Ferrea, too, was probably a girl born between about 1885 and 1892 (which translates to about 12 to 19 years of age in 1904, an appropriate age for confirmations of Catholic children at the turn of the century in the United States). Although no other records found to date mention a middle name for this Rose Ferrea (RIN 88) if this newspaper reference to Rose Elizabeth Ferrea is indeed a reference to this Rose Ferrea (RIN 88), it may well be possible that she and her family knew of or may even have been related to Elizabeth Madeline Ferrea, whose sister (Rose) had died in December of 1902 and who herself was prominently mentioned on the first page of the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper in July of 1903.
