Burial was in Hartsburg Union Cemetary with full military rites.
Mr. Greenslate was the chief of security at Lincoln Developmental Center before he retired.
He was born May 8, 1919, in Kenney, Ill., to Owen and Imogene (Altman) Greenslate. He married Maxine L. Smith on Dec. 24, 1943, in Waynesville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers and five sisters.
He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lincoln.
He was a WWII Army veteran with a Purple Heart.
