Mrs. Manie Owston Sargent, widow of John H. Sargent died Monday evening in her home at 206 Center Avenue, Emsworth. Mrs. Sargent was born in old Allegheny, February 24, 1884, and had lived in Emsworth for the last 25 years. She was a member of the Emsworth United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Martha A. and Virginia M. Sargent, at home; Mrs. James Mull of Bellvue, and Mrs. Robert W. Birnie of Emsworth; three sons, Donald K. and John L. at home, and James W. Sargent of Ingomar; a brother, James G. Owston, of Pittsburgh, and a sister, Mrs. John E. Hastings, of Ben Avon.
Friends will be received at the McDonald Funeral Home, 529 California Avenue, Avalon. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home with burial in Highwood Cemetery.
