Daughter of Lewis Edgar and Elsie Susan (Ferryman) Hunt.
Her first marriage was to John O. McCauslin; they had three daughters, Marcella, Linda and Sandra.
She then married Clayton John Stockman on June 29, 1949, and had two more daughters, Jean and Rebecca. For over 25 years she and her daughters took an annual "girls trip", going everywhere from Yosemite National Park to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Millie and John traveled extensively throughout the United States in their RV and Millie always wanted to "see where the road goes." But it was the desert southwest that Millie loved best. She cherished the years that she lived near Vail, Arizona; taking long early-morning walks and looking at the view of Mt. Fagan from her window. Millie was an award-winning quilter who produced beautiful, intricate quilts that were sewn entirely by hand. She took great joy in spending time with her family, especially sharing wine, playing cards and laughing late into the night.
