Robert E. Seabolt Sr., 83, of 1703 S. Osage died Sunday in a Fort Smith nursing home. He was a retired carpenter, a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and a Mason with the Belle Point Lodge.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Putnam Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery with Masonic graveside services.
He is survived by his wife, Dovie; one daughter, Betty Seabolt Martin of Winnsboro, La; one stepdaughter, Gayle King of Fort Smith; two sons, Billy Ray of Uniontown and Robert Jr. of Houston, Texas; one stepson, Ernest Bradley of Hot Springs; one sister, Ura Maxwell of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rufus Peck, Jim Coleman, Claud Brown, Andy Allen, Garland Wells and Lawrence Denton.

Robert Emmette Seabolt was the son of Alfred Pickens Seabolt and Ida Caldonia Brooks Seabolt.
His mother died when he was young and was buried in Old Seabolt Cemetery in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. His father died in 1953 and was buried in Spiro City Cemetery, Le Flore County, Oklahoma.
