Gilbert Boston, 81, of Noxen, died Friday in Troy Community Hospital.
He was born Aug. 9, 1919, in Centermoreland, son of the late Fred and Mary Kittle Boston.
Mr. Boston was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was employed by Armour Leather Company, Noxen, for 15 years; Johnson, Drake and Piper Construction Company, New York, for one year, and own and operated Noxen Texaco Station for eight years, retiring in 1974.
He was a member of Rattlesnake Gun Club, Loyalville; the Board of the Noxen Community Federal Credit Union and Bowmans Creek Lions Club. He attended Noxen United Methodist Church.
