Pearl Frances (Blevney) Retlogle, 101, died Tuesday (Oct. 4) at Noble Horizons, Salisbury.

She was the wife of the late Harry H. Retlogle.

Born in Newark, N.J., June 5, 1887, daughter of the late John and May (Foster) Blevney, she was a former resident of Glastonbury and had lived in Washington, D.C., for many years before moving to Salisbury 13 years ago.

In Washington, D.C., she was regent of the Susan Riviere Hetzel Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, treasurer of the 20th Century Club, a member of the Washington Club and the PEO Club.

She was a descendent of Gen. Nicholas Herkimer, killed while commanding the revolutionary forces at the battle of Oriskany, N.Y.

Survivors include a son, John Blevney Willard of West Hartford; a daughter, Vicom Tesse Robert de Richemont of London, England; seven grandchildren; and 16 greatgrandchildren.

Memorial service will be Thursday, 3 p.m., in the chapel of Noble Horizons.

Graveside service will be Friday, 1 p.m., in the Herkimer Homestead Cemetery, Little Fails, N.Y.

There are no calling hours. The Newkirk Funeral Home, Main Street, Lakeville, has charge of arrangements.
