Services for Ada Gill Crocker, 65, of Athens, are scheduled for Tuesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Crocker died Nov. 7, 2009, at home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Nacogdoches to the late Dewey Lebarn and Willie V. Norton Johnson.

Ada has resided in Athens since 1975 and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She formerly worked for Argon Medical Devices, Inc. for 11 years where she was a shipping and receiving supervisor. She also worked at West Place Nursing Center in dietary and East Texas Medical Center in materials. She was a member of the East Texas Medical Center Hospital Auxillary where she passionately served for 13 years and accumulated more than 6,500 hours of service.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Blair Crocker; sons, Dewey Dwayne (Carol) Gill, of Gun Barrel City; William Reese (Judy) Gill, of Athens; daughter, Nancy Kay (Mike) Green, of Kilgore; stepson, Robert (Linda) Crocker, of Chandler; sister, Melba Dean Burgin, of Magnolia; extended family, Becky Shavers, of Athens; ten grandchildren; nieces, Sharon Smith, Keller and Sonya Bynes, of Pflugerville.

Pallbearers will include Owen Crocker, Roger Crocker, James Crocker, Mike Green, Whit Smith and Chris Bynes.
