The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kamphaus, "Caroline Wilhelmine Kamphaus" married Franz Heinrich Krenning on 24 Apr 1873 at Salem Lutheran Church in Black Jack, St. Louis County, Missouri. The witnesses at their wedding were Heinrich Hagemeyer, Heinrich Capp, Wilhelmine Krenning and Henriette (illegible).
"Minnie" and "Frank" were the parents of 2 adopted children. He worked as a farmer in north St. Louis County, Missouri. She was also known as "Mina" on some records.
At the time of her death due to gall bladder and stomach cancer, Minnie was 66 years, 2 months and 9 days old. She was buried on 25 May 1919 and was survived by her husband, Frank, who passed away in 1926.
Children: 1 son, 1 daughter.

Quest (nee Krenning), our dear grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and aunt, at the age of 56 [sic] years 2 months and 9 days.
Funeral Sunday, May 25, at 2 p.m., from the home place, Spanish Lake, Mo., Salem Lutheran Church, Blackjack, Mo., to Blackjack Cemetery. Motor. Relatives and friends invited. Please omit flowers.
