Birth: Feb. 21, 1841
Chautauqua County
New York, USA
Death: Dec. 7, 1920
Almira
Lincoln County
Washington, USA

C.T. Haskin was born in the state of New York, February 21, 1841 and died at his home in Almira (Washington) December 7, 1920,
being 79 years, 9 months and 16 days of age. When but a child, he moved with his parents to Waukesha, Wisconsin and lived there until
18 years of age, when he again moved with them to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, staying there on the farm helping his father for a number of years.. He was united in marriage to Mary R. Woodworth, December 15, 1864. Later he moved to Clark County, Wisconsin where he lived until 1906, when he came to Washington and settled in Almira, which was his home until his death. For a number of years he has been in feeble health owing to his first stroke of paralysis which he received eleven years ago, but was able to attend to his garden and work about his home. The second stroke came December 4 (1920) and the end came three and a half days later.
Mr. Haskin became a Christian and united with the church 31 years ago. Since that time, he lived a life true to his God and a shining example to his fellow men. No man in our community was held in greater esteem than Mr. Haskin and no man will be more greatly missed.
He was the father of five children, three of whom have preceeded him to the great beyond. He is survived by his wife and son Carl of Almira; daughter Mrs. Rose Welch of Spokane, and a brother at Cambellsport, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildre.
He was a kind husband and father and leaves his family the choicest heritage-the memory of a full life well lived. Had Mr. Haskin lived but seven more days he and Mrs. Haskin would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The services at the Methodist Church, Almira, Washington were attended by an audience of friends and acquaintances that completely filled the church. Mr Haskin was buried at Almira cemetery.

There is a vacant chair in the home;
We miss him everywhere.
His welcome voice nor step we'll hear
'Till we meet him on the other shore.
