Deputy Sheriff killed. He is the "unnamed Constable" reported in several news accounts to have been killed in the aftermath of rioting after the July 4, 1910 Jack Johnson prizefight. Although contemporary accounts {such as the Utah "The Ogden standard" July 5, 1910 page 7 col 3} claims Constable was a "negro"; however 1910 Illinois account does not report on color of fallen officer
