Wilson WING was the son of Edward and his 2nd wife, Hannah (Tallman) WING, born in Dartmouth, MA, and a descendant of (3x Great-Grandson of) the Stephen WING who arrived from England, settled in/near Sandwich, Barnstable, MA, & his second wife Sarah (Briggs) WING, and further extended to Matthew WING of England.

Wilson's 2x Gr-Grandfather Matthew WING (son of Stephen and Sarah) was the one who moved over to Bristol County (Dartmouth), somewhere around 1696/97.

Wilson Wing married Kezia (Keziah sp?) Tibbetts on 08 Feb 1801, in Westport, MA, and they had five children that I know of so far: Hannah; Ann (Wing) BAKER; John T; Phebe Rebecca (Wing) BOOMER; and Alexander.

From various documents from the archives of the Westport Historical Society, it appears that Wilson served in various capacities (as did the majority of men in the community) in the area, but he was primarily a farmer.

It also appears that Wilson served in the War of 1812 in the "2 REG'T (LINCOLN'S) MASSACHUSETTS MILITIA" as an Ensign.

Wilson and Kezia's daughter Ann married Thomas Weaver BAKER (my 3x great-Grandparents).

Wilson and Kezia are buried in the Linden Grove Cemetery, (plot 14 - belonging to his son Alexander H WING), in Westport, MA, where I have found many of my relations, as well.

Age 64 y., 5 d.
