RICHARD E. "DICK" LACY
LACY, Richard E. Dick age 91, of Farmersville, OH, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009.
Dick was born in White Oak, KY, on June 1, 1918, to the late Ollie and Fleta Ann (Little) Lacy. He was an Army Veteran of W.W.II serving in the Pacific Theatre. He retired as a Superintendent in 1984, from the Ohio Department of Transportation, after 24 years of service; and was a member of the Farmersville United Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard W. Lacy (1997); his sister Anna Clay Preston (2007) and his brother, Paul Lacy (1965).
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise (Hager) Lacy; his son, Dirschl C. (Karen) Lacy of Littleton, CO; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Lacy of Farmersville, OH; 3 grandchildren, Kelly Lacy of Farmersville, OH, Krystal (Abe) McNutt of Germantown, OH, and David Paul Lacy of Denver, CO.
Friends may call 10 a.m.- 12 Noon Monday (2 hours prior to the service), November 9th , at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, OH, where the funeral service will be held at 12 Noon with, Pastor Susan Hartman officiating. Burial Holp Cemetery, Farmersville, OH.
