Anna (Patton) Russell, MD, 91, of Longwood at Oakmont, formerly of Highland Park, died Mon., Nov. 2, 2009. Wife of the late Jack Russell; sister of the late Mary Jane Patton Bunting and the late James R. Patton, Jr. Survived by nieces: Pamela (Matthew) Hampton, Suzanne (David) Weiner, Kimberly (David) Klimek, all of Bethesda, Maryland, as well as great nephews and great niece Bradley, James, Samuel, Benjamin, Chase, and Emma. Dr. Patton was a retired physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology in private practice and at both Magee and West Penn hospitals. In addition, Dr. Patton was a distinguished Army veteran serving during WWII and an active member of numerous Pittsburgh based charitable organizations. No visitation. A memorial service will be Tues., Nov. 10th at 11 A.M. at the Aspinwall Presbyterian Church, Center Ave. and 3rd St. Aspinwall. Private interment, Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
