"Mrs. Phoebe Marshall Alston, 75, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maude M. Adamson, 3113 South West Temple street, Saturday night from a heart attack.

She was born in Woods Cross, April 17, 1859, daughter of Daniel and Margaret Morris Wood.

She was a member of the presidency of the first Mutual organization in West Bountiful.

She is survived by her husband, John Alston, and three children by her first marriage with the late James C. Marshall; Mrs. Maude M. Adamson and Mrs. Mary M. Walker, both of Salt Lake, and Robert Marshall of Boise. The following brothers and sisters survive; Mrs. Ida Cague, Seattle; LeGrand Wood, Long Beach; Hosia Wood, Rock Creek, Idaho, and Joseph Wood, Woods Cross; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild."

Cause of death was Myocarditis, Coronary Thrombosis. Buried Wed., December 19, 1934.
