Mrs. Allie E. Kilpatrick, 37, wife of J.R. Kilpatrick, overseer of the cardroom of Chesnee Mill, died at her residence at 12:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon after an illness of five years.
Mr. and Mrs. Kilpatrick moved to Chesnee two years ago from Greenville. They are well known in Chesnee.
Mrs. Kilpatrick is survived by her husband and one daughter, Miss Willie Mae Kilpatrick of Chesnee; four sisters, Mrs. Nannie Lowery, Detroit, Mrs. Bessie Jenson, Lake Charles, LA, Mrs. Annie Ables, Central, SC, and Mrs. Eddie Suttles of Anderson; and two brothers, Guy and Raymond Strickland of Anderson.
