For three seasons (1990 to 1993), he played at the center position in the National Basketball Association with the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Bullets. Born Raymond Alan Ogg, he attended Gardendale High School in Alabama and played collegiate basketball at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. While with the Blazers, Ogg at the stature of 7 feet 2 inches was a standout player and currently holds the school's record for career blocked shots with 266. He was signed as a non-drafted player by Miami and would appear in 80 career NBA games recording 175 points, 133 rebounds and 58 blocked shots. He appeared in 3 games while with the Heat during the 1991-1992 postseason. He extended his basketball career playing internationally. Ogg died of complications from an infection. (bio by: C.S.)
