Anna Tracy, dau. of Jonathan Tracy, 3rd and Amee Palmer, born Apr. 1, 1733 at Preston, Conn. She was bapt. at the Preston Cong. Church Apr. 8, 1733. Her mother was the great granddau. of Walter Palmer, planter of Stonington, Conn. formerly of Rehoboth, Mass.
In the Hale Connecticut Cemetery database at the South Cemetery in Brooklyn, Conn. is:
• Robinson, Anna, wife of Jacob, died Dec. 8, 1815, age 82.
Anna's gravestone is now very weathered and almost illegible. What is still discernable is her age at death, "Aged 82," which is an error. Based on both her recorded birth and baptism, she was 82 years old when she died, and "Aged" (Ætatis suæ) 83 at death. Her death was also reported in a newspaper at Binghamton, NY where her son Dr. Tracy Robinson and his son-in-law Maj. Augustus Morgan were in the newspaper business.
