Mr. Roger Max Coakley, 52, of Parrottsville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 28, 2005, at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.

Mr. Coakley was employed as a firefighter for Cocke County Fire Department.

He was a member of Northport Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Coakley, and six uncles.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Israel and Christina Coakley, of Parrottsville; son, Jerry Coakley, of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sidney Coakley, of Parrottsville, and Leona Coakley, of Oklahoma; mother, Mary Ann Coakley, of Parrottsville; brothers, David Coakley and his family and Timmy Coakley and his family, all of Parrottsville.

Additional survivors include two uncles, several aunts, cousins, and friends, including special friend, Missy Damos and her family, of Parrottsville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2005, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wade Holbrook officiating.

Burial will follow in Parrottsville Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
