Hugh H. Breeden, 26, died suddenly at his home, XXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock following an illness of about a month. He had been a resident of Montana for the past 18 years and during the last eight years has been employed by the Rambouillet Sheep Company on the Madison.

While working on the ranch, about a month ago, Mr. Breeden suffered a sun stroke and was brought to the Deaconess hospital where he received treatment for five days. He returned to the ranch, but did no hard work, and on Tuesday evening drove to Bozeman, by himself, and spent the night with his family on West Harrison. His health had been failing since he suffered the stroke. His physician said last evening that heart trouble was the cause of his death.

Mr. Breeden was born in St. Clair County, Mo., October 28, 1908, the son of Jacob R. and Flora Reed Breeden. He made his home in Missouri until 1917 when he, with his family, came to Fairview, Mont. In 1920 they moved to Bozeman where he has since made his home, with the exception of the time he was employed on the Madison. Mr. Breeden received his education in the public schools of Fairview and Bozeman. His mother passed away about eight years ago.

Surviving Mr. Breeden are his father, Jacob R. Breeden, Bozeman; five brothers and two sisters, John, Marion, George, and Charlie, all of Bozeman; and Edgar, who is a coach at Conrad, Mont.; Mrs. Verne (Pearl) Vian, Bozeman; and Mrs. Albert (Mable) Arlint, Bozeman. Four nephews and three nieces also survive; Robert Vian, Leslie Breeden, Ivan Arlint, Richard Arlint, Grace Vian, Elsie Arlint and Patty Lee Breeden.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock at the Dokken Funeral home. Rev. Roy H. Barrett of the Baptist church will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in the Sunset Hills cemetery.
