In 1910 William Pleasant Ross and his wife Elizabeth sold 95 ? acres (of the 129 acres previously purchased in 1894) to Sam Puryear, his brother-in-law, for a sum of $2,000.00.
Then in 1910 William Pleasant Ross and his wife Elizabeth sold this same 95 ? acres plot of land to J. S. Jones for $1340.00. I'm not sure how that happened unless Sam Puryear defaulted on the 1906 purchase or W. P. Ross purchased the parcel back from Sam Puryear. They moved to the farm west of Bridgeport Texas in 1912.
