Mrs. Bertha Alford
Services for Mrs. Bertha Alford, 71, of Old State Road, Alexandria, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Alexandria Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. from the Muehlenkamp funeral home, Alexandria, where friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Campbell County, Mrs. Alford died Tuesday at her home.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Clara White, Irvine; Mrs. Hilma Howard, Staten Island N.Y., and Mrs. Alberta Ledman, Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. Iva Fierce, Alexandria; six brothers, Marion and Lawrence Baker, Jasonville, Ind. and Raymond, Lindsey and Carl Baker, all of Cincinnati; and eight grandchildren.
