Jo Ellen Bingham

On Feb. 5, 2009, Jo Ellen Ward Bingham continued on her journey ahead of her loved ones. She was born Nov. 4, 1942, in Freeport, Texas.

Jo Ellen grew up in Arizona, arriving in Page from Williams HS, Williams, AZ in 1959, where she had been a Freshman in 1957 and Sophomore in 1958, serving as one of four WHS Varsity Cheerleaders. She became Page High School's first Homecoming Queen the same year, 1959. She married Bob Bingham in 1962 and their first child, Sara, was born that same year, followed by David in 1965 and Luke in 1967. Known for her creative, artistic, and witty nature, Jo Ellen is loved by everyone who knew her.

Jo Ellen was preceded in death by her father, Byron "Mack" Ward, and a brother, David Mack.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda; her partner, Michael; her children Sara and her children Allison and Mitchell; David; and Luke and his children Marcus, Brady, and Sage; and her siblings Steven, Philip and Jane. Surviving Jo Ellen also are her uncle Wayne, numerous cousins, and countless friends.
