Services for Mrs. Eula Mae Rhodes, age 89, were Tuesday, August 19, 2008, in the chapel at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. Keith Kirk officiating. Burial followed in Scotts Hill Pentecostal Cemetery.
Mrs. Rhodes died Sunday in Parsons.
She was born July 5, 1919 in Scotts Hill to the late Sam O. and Lillie Mae (Thompson) Rhodes. She was a retired secretary for Decaturville Sportswear and a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, Parsons Lodge.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Clyde, and George; three sisters, Mildred Hayes, Ruby Lee Rhodes, and Ruth Jerkins; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Survivors are her two daughters, Freda R. Wade and Ramona Thomas of Scotts Hill; two brothers, John S. of Monroe, MI, and Bill of Lexington; three sisters, Mary Lois White, Martha Flowers and Carolyn Frazier of Monroe, MI; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
