Mr. Beasley was born May 7,1888, in Heber Springs, the son of Mrs. Allie Paine Beasley and F.F. Beasley. A landowner and retired farmer, he had lived at Heth since 1927. He was a member of Hughes Methodist Church.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Baldridge Beasley, whom he married in 1910; four sons, Louis E. Beasley of Richmond, Colo., Col. Carl J. Beasley in the Air Force in Japan, Vance E. Beasley and Harry E. Beasley both of Heth; two daughters, Mrs. E.L. Smith, Jr. of Turrell, and Mrs. R.O. Dorris of Memphis; two brothers, Charles Beasley of Memphis and Carol Beasley of Searcy; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Beasley Blankenship of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. V.E. Stark of Heber Springs; and 12 grandchildren.
