0la Florence Krapf was born along with a twin sister, Olive Flossie Krapf, the daughters of William Henry Kraft (Buried this cemetery) and Margaret (Madge) (Cooper) Templeman. Madge is buried in Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion, Iowa with her first husband, William Templeman. Ola was married to Forrest Charles Cherry on December 12, 1928 near Rowley, Iowa. He is buried in this cemetery. They were parents of three children: Olive Arlene Cherry married Richard Franklin Zabokrtsky; Raymond Forest Cherry married Ardyth Sue Randa and are buried in this cemetery; Merry Carol Cherry married John Douglas Powell.

~0bit~Ola Florence Cherry, 78, of Walker, Iowa passed away at 5:21 p.m. Friday, March 25, 1988 at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a lengthy illness. She was born the daughter of William Henry and Madge Cooper Krapf on June 19, 1909 near Rowley, at Cono Center area, Iowa. On December 12, 1928, at Rowley, Iowa, she was married to Forrest Charles Cherry. He died June 4, 1977. Mrs. Cherry was a member of the Troy Mills Christian Church, Homemakers Club, C.W.F. and Sew & Sew Club. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Arlene) Zabokrtsky of Walker and Mrs. John (Merry) Powell of Troy Mills; a son, Raymond Cherry of Troy Mills; nine grand-children; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Neva Donlea of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and a brother, Carl Edmond Krapf of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 1988 at the Troy Mills Christian Church, Troy Mills, Iowa. Conducted by: Rev. Pamela Starr. Organist: Ruth Ann Fiala. Soloist: Kirk Dighton. Bearers: Steven Richard Zabokrtsky, Dennis Ray Zabokrtsky, David Frank Zabokrtsky, John Douglas Powell, Jerry Olivarez, and Larry Lamb. Honorary Bearers: Michael Ray Cherry and Marc LuVerne Cherry. Interment: Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills, Iowa.
