KINCAID - John L. "Jack" Baietto, 68, of Kincaid died at 8:03 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 14, 1941, in Taylorville, the son of John and Helen M. (Hill) Baietto.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Helen M. Baietto of Kincaid; four children, Jackie (husband, Bob) Staff of Rochester, Michael Baietto of Springfield, Alicia (husband, Darren) Galloway of Pawnee, and Tara Baietto of St. Louis; seven grandchildren, Taylor and Lyndsey Staff, Evan and Emily Baietto, and Garrett, Austin and Sydney Calloway; and a sister, Patricia Howard of Kincaid.

Jack was co-owner and operator of Peoples Market in Kincaid for several years. He was an Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid and American Legion Post 905 in Kincaid.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, with Deacon Ray Roth officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery in rural Edinburg.
