Mrs. Linnie L. Liscum, 76, route 1 south of Great Falls, died Thursday at Choteau at the home of her son, Tom Liscum, where she had been spending the holidays. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. She was stricken on Thursday afternoon and died about ten minutes later. Burial was in Craig cemetery.
Mrs. Liscum was born Oct. 21, 1864, in Marshall,Mo. When she was seven her family came to Montana in a covered wagon, settling at Virginia City. She attended school in Virginia City and in 1890 moved to Craig where she taught school for several years.
In 1908 Mrs. Liscum moved to Great Falls where she has since made her home. She was a member of the First Methodist church and for years taught in the Sunday school of the
church.
Besides the son, Tom at Choteau, survivors are another son, John of Great Falls, and one daughter, Mrs. J.E. Tracy of Denver.
