Edna M. McNeely, 92, of Falls City, died February 26, 2005 at Falls City. She was born April 28, 1912 at Falls City to the late Joseph and Cora (Sutton) Wheatley.
On December 24, 1933 she married Ernest V. McNeely at Falls City. He died November 19, 1998.
Edna was raised in Falls City and attended Falls City Public Schools. After their marriage, the couple established their home at Falls City. She was employed at Falls City Creamery for fourteen years until she retired in 1940 to raise her family. She was a lifetime resident of Falls City.
Edna was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and VFW Auxiliary #1765.
Edna is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Horst and her husband George of Omaha, Janice Hoffman and her husband Charles of Waterville, ME, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter in infancy, Linda Sue, three brothers and six sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held March 2, 2005 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Robert A. Roh as presiding priest. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be held March 1, 2005 5:30 PM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home, and after the rosary the family will receive friends until 7:00 PM.
