ROOSEVELT--Doyle Otto Lloyd, age 75, died February 28, 1999 in a Provo hospital, of cancer.

He was born Sept. 3, 1923 in Roosevelt to Otto Lewis and Zelma Eliza Day Lloyd. He married Frances Hancock, later divorced. Married Carol Plummer, March 13, 1980 in the Provo LDS Temple. Doyle worked for Cream O Weber-Hiland Dairy delivering milk for 41 years. He enjoyed gardening, repairing lawn mowers, reading and walking. He was active in the LDS Church and had served in the Sunday School presidency and was presently serving as an ordinance worker in the Vernal Temple and had been manager of the Bishop's storehouse for 9 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, of Roosevelt; sons and daughters, Ron (Rosemary) Lloyd, Salt Lake City; Jean (Ted) Wall, Powell, WY; Jess (Mary) Lloyd, Salt Lake City; Sharon (Danny) Christensen, Mountain Home, UT; Jim (Vickie) Lloyd, Santa Clara, UT; Debbie (Keith) Duncan, Neola, UT; Chris (Wendy) Lloyd, Roosevelt; stepchildren, Larry (Liz) Hatch, Farmington, NM; Kyle (Alison) Hatch, Colorado Springs, CO; Keith (Gail) Hatch, Helena, MT; Telina (Richard) Bishop, St. George; Wade (Kelly Ann) Hatch, Duchesne; 31 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren; sister, brothers, Delores (Jim) Zobell, Ioka, UT; Garn (Jan) Lloyd, Springville; Howard (Maxine) Lloyd, Mendon, UT. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Reta; a brother, Otto Lloyd, Jr.; and sister, Elaine Lloyd.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 3 p.m. at the Roosevelt LDS East Stake Center, 550 N. 600 E., where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-2:45 p.m. Burial in the Ioka Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Olpin Mortuary.
