Funeral services for William Coy Atkins, 78, Rt. 2, Hartselle, who died June 27 at a local hospital were Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bob Gordon officiating. Burial was in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Peck directing.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Atkins, Hartselle; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Travis and Mrs. Patricia Hudson, both of Decatur; two sons, Gordon Atkins and Randy Atkins, both of Hartselle; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Wiggins and Mrs Freida Blankenship, both of Hartselle, and Mrs. Verma McDaniel, Decatur; two brothers, R. Y. Atkins and Wilson Atkins, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers were R. B. Orr, Rob Robinson, Therrel Wallace, Earnest Rogers, Wendell Atkins and Roy Williams. Mr. Atkins was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
