Theron Hatch, age 87, died June 20, 1992 at his home in St. George.

Born November 13, 1904 in Byron, Wyoming, a son of Jabez and Annie Putman Hatch. Theron moved with his family to Randolph at the age of 5. He was reared and educated there. He served a mission for the LDS Church to the Northwestern States, 1925-27. He attended the Utah State Agricultural College in Logan. Theron married Lucille Corless June 18, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 1, 1980. He later married Elma Norris October 24, 1987 in the Ogden LDS Temple. Theron was a rancher all of his life. His pride and joy was raising purebred Hereford bulls. He was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in many ward positions. He loved missionary work and served as a stake missionary and as stake mission president in the Evanston, Wyoming Stake. He was a very active temple worker at the Ogden, Mesa, Arizona, and St. George temples. He came to live part time in St. George in 1987.Survived by his wife, Elma Hatch, of Randolph and St. George; two sons, Gordon L. Hatch, Kaysville; and J. Brent Hatch, Mesa, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Ken (DeeAnne) Brown, Randolph; and Mrs. Scott (Kathy) Rees, Morgan; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth of Randolph, Dee of Springville, and Dale Hatch of Randolph; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Thomson, Randolph; Mrs. Abbie Telford, and Mrs. Edith Perkins, both Farmington; and Mrs. Zelma Beldin, Echo, Utah.

Friends may call for viewing on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the St. George 19th Ward building with Spilsbury-Desert Rose Mortuary, Funeral directors.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, June 25, 1992, at the Randolph Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at the Randolph City Cemetery under the directions of the Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming.
