Wife of Lt. Colonel William Clifford "Bill" Brooks V. They were married on October 24, 1942 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.

Mother of William Clifford Brooks VI, Douglas Kent Brooks, Jennifer Ann Brooks and Jeffrey Thomas Brooks.

Rosalie was a beautiful and special lady who exemplified all of the qualities of a wife of a career military husband. Behind every dedicated military professional was a strong woman who kept the family going while they were away on assignment. Rosalie was one of these women.

My father, Lt. Colonel Ollie Ivan Deel and Rosalie's husband Bill were friends and served together at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. We lived just down the street from their house on Beechwood Street and I would sometimes play with Jennifer and Jeff.

Rosalie and my mother Helen became good friends and had a very special bond that is shared only by military wives.
