Services Friday for Mrs. Hammer
Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche E. Hammer, 49, Saltillo, died Wednesday morning at Bethesda Hospital where she underwent a operation Tuesday, will be conducted Friday 2 o'clock afternoon at the Saltillo Methodist Church. Rev.Mr. Haness will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery. Mrs. Hammer, who was the wife of Albert Hammond, had been a patient at the hospital for six weeks. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Edgar and Vernon Hammond of the home. A daughter, Mrs. Earl Wright of Coshocton; her father, L.A. Cannon of New Lexington; brothers, Homer Cannon of Crooksville, Stan Cannon of White Cottage; and two sisters, Mrs. Wallis Madden of White Cottage and Mrs. Elmer Jones of Columbus and a grandchild. The body will be removed to the home of her brothers, Willard Cannon of White Cottage Thursday noon from the Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home, Crooksville.
